We have made quality choices to offer an authentic mountain experience
The chalet is designed as a family home, not a hotel. It is very spacious and functional. The bedrooms are grouped into four distinct zones, each with a fully equipped bath and/or shower room. Bedrooms and communal areas are organized to meet the needs of an intergenerational group and to alternate private moments with areas of communal living.
We’ve taken care to provide plenty of facilities so that you don’t have to worry about material matters. We have furnished and decorated the chalet with care, in the belief that a well-tended home also encourages quality relationships between residents and contributes greatly to the sense of success of your holiday.
Despite the size of the chalet, we have decided to limit the number of guests to a maximum of twelve in order to guarantee the comfort you expect and to ensure the quality of the place for the guests who follow you.
The views from the chalet of the Matterhorn and the Jungfraujoch are sumptuous, with colors and moods changing with the day and the weather. Chalet Sky is not located in a town, nor is it surrounded by bars or shopping areas. On the edge of the village of Thyon les Collons, the dwellings are sparse and deer and roe deer like to pass through.
The village of Les Collons has a mini-market, a bakery and a newsagent, as well as a number of bars and restaurants so that the most distracted or hurried can forget about shopping for a moment as they leave the valley.
Ideally situated at the entrance to the Val d’Hérens, the chalet is on the four valleys ski area and gives access in summer to an authentic, wild valley dotted with traditional villages, starting points for hikes and discoveries as beautiful as they are varied.
We do not give preference to an impersonal and costly agency rental system, but we can count on Nicole and her team to welcome you. They are at your service throughout your stay to respond to your requests and react quickly to any problems. We believe that personalized service and support are our best investment.
